I should write something worthwhile here. But then again what's the point.
I'm just a chick who spends time reblogging pointless things most days as well as rping as well.
Mainly things I like will be posted and such along with any edits and writing I do.
Stay if ya want but can't promise you that you'll enjoy the stay.
Some days I might not be on much but I'm not dead.
I just spend half my day rping on one of my rp accounts.
Things are slowly being updated and done.
Post will also just appear randomly whenever I log on here as well and decided to do something other than lurk on an rp account

Art Resource List

monkeyscandance:

An anon asked me today if I have any resources or tips for people on a budget that want to get serious about learning how to draw. I am by far no expert on the subject, but I stumbled over quite a few completely free resource sites in the past and thought I’d just compile them for said Anon and whoever wants to look into it.

  • ctrl+paint : lovely resource site that covers all of the basics for drawing as well as coloring digitally
  • eyecaging: one of my favourite tutorial compilation tumblrs out there
  • proko: great youtube channel that gets you started with drawing the human figure
  • Shaddy Safadi: great videos on drawing environments, also recommend his blog. His way of explaining might not be for everyone.
  • Sycra: another youtube channel with tons of helpful videos
  • Noah Bradley: great youtube videos, mostly environment paintings
  • Tyler Edlin: Look, even more environment painting videos!
  • enliighten: great resource compilation site for the digital painter, also offer paid mentorships
  • Gesture Drawing Tools: most notably pixelovely and quickposes
  • James Gurney: I recommend his book Color & Light, but his blog is also a fantastic resource
  • stuck with art block: a great tumblr full of tutorials and inspiring things
  • kuler: my way of getting inspired for color themes when I have no idea what I want to do
  • art reference tumblr list: handy dandy list full of blogs for reference
  • PSG art tutorial: get on this, it has all the basics on coloring you need
  • skillshare: low budget video classes from many great artists, often for 10 or 20$ the lesson

Books I like:

  • Colour and Light by James Gurney
  • Force: Dynamic Life Drawing for Animators by Mike Mattesi
  • Framed Ink: Drawing Composition for the Visual Storyteller
  • Drawn to Life by Walt Stanchfield

I probably forgot a lot of resource links, but I hope it helps you out, Anon.

ladymarvels:

Whenever marvel references other movies, or connects the dots, I feel this tingling in my chest and it makes me so happy.

HYDRA, S.H.I.E.L.D. Two sides of a coin that’s no longer currency.
